You… You Keep On Truckin’

Ugh.  This week is going to suck even worse than last.  A few more thoughts before I try and get some work done:

Gambling Update:  I’m now 4-0-1 with gambling advice after going 1-0-1 this weekend.  Are you listening yet?

People outside of Philly are finally starting to notice David Akers’ problems.  He really doesn’t need any more attention drawn his way at the moment.  This could be the beginning of the end.

The Eagles once again got caught with Bunkley and Patterson on the bench for a critical running play — the final ‘Skins TD.  It was 3rd and goal from the three and the Eagles had their nickel D on the field.

This is going to be, and should be, a rough week for Reid in the press.  This is pretty damning — from Matt Moseley’s ESPN.com NFC East Blog:

I was intrigued by something Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers told me immediately after the game. He said he marveled at the Eagles’ first 15 plays of the game, but noticed that things grew stale after that. It’s not as if he was trying to badmouth the Eagles, but I think it speaks to how Philadelphia’s first drive looked dramatically different from the way it played the rest of the day.

“We’d never seen those plays they came out with,” Rogers said. “I’m serious. Those were great plays. But after that, I guess our coaching took over.”

Your move, Andy.
